its a quiet thursday morning,
we had a ship on, the katherine Borchard to be precise.
thats finished, i'm now manning the road, i let pete go home, and the shift manager is having a kip
so i'm kinda running the show
even though theres nothing happening, its nice to know i can be left with the terminal....

i dont really know why i'm documenting this

tonights one of those nights i've always wanted to have,

basically just me,

initially i'd planned, when ever i'd have one of these nights, to bring in an instriment, to keep myself occupied with
at the moment it would be my (still un-named after god knows how long) ukulele, have been playing that a lot recently
so much that i feel i need a new better one because this was a cheap �20 that you'd probably get your kid to shut them up,
maybe one with some metal strings?

anyway, tonight would have been a great night to do that

except, this is my 1st shift since thursday at 2, so haven't had any idea about shipping plans, so didn't really know in advance that tonight would have been one of those nights,
also, my psp has run out of battery

i've not come very prepaired tonight

have been out with emma this eve, only getting in about 20 mins before i had to go to work

inwhich i forgot to put a belt on, so having to keep pulling up my trousers, forgot to pack the psp cable, in which out of the whole office i can't find one to replicate it, even the IT department which seems to have ever cable known to man, other than the one i need

i bought a brilliantly big Quiznos to munch on,

but thats in the fridge in the room that the shift manager is sleeping in,

so bollocks, cant get that untill he wakes up,
which will be in 3 hours

so i find myself, singing along to fleetwood mac, making myself lots of coffee's which is probably why i'm buzzing, but well the 1st night you kinda do,

even though i got up pretty early this morning, i'm not too tired,

might be later on
